WeDo Lego

The WeDo Lego program is a multidisciplinary curriculum with a focus on science, technology,  engineering, and math (STEM subjects). Language Arts is integrated through reading and writing as the students build and program each model. The video below shows how the program works.

Students using our Smartboard in a friendly competition at the end of a math lesson. I will get a longer video this fall. I was actually trying to take a picture, but it seems my phone was set to video unbeknownst to me!

iPad 2

Last year Mrs. Otero ordered iPads for all of the classroom teachers! I used the iPad to video students giving book talks. We did a variety of projects with educational apps.  I also use it as a reward/incentive for students. Best thing ever! Maybe down the road we will get some more!
