Just a reminder that students need to have their poster board, and display ready, as well as a one page written report. Many students are writing notes on index cards so that they are prepared to answer the judge's questions. All of the rules and requirements were sent home, but please contact me if you need a copy ASAP! Feel free to come to the fair to see all our classes projects!
Here are some of the best websites to get your research started. Remember you need a one page report, poster or presentation board, and your project. Good Luck! I cannot wait to see all your hard work and creativity!
Please return signed report card envelops as soon as possible.
Students need to bring in a shoe box or other cardboard box for a habitat diorama. They will be making them with the Student Conservation Association. Please bring in asap!
Much of the work during the third trimester will need to be completed in cursive. While I don't mind the students printing, the majority of 5th grade teachers expect students to write in cursive 99% of the time. Next week the spelling test will be in cursive.
Tomorrow Officer Rondeau is coming from MPD to talk about cyber-bullying and being safe online.
Thanks to everyone who has sent in tissues and clorox wipes.
Thank you to the Dumont family and Nicole for purchasing Candy Experiments from the book fair last week. We should have lots of fun with that book!

Now that spring is approaching, and you maybe spending more time outdoors! While you are at that playground, field, or backyard, look for something to bring in that we can all checkout. When you come in on Monday morning you can make a slide. Hopefully, we will have a few new things to examine up close every Monday!

Mrs. Johnson, the school nurse is doing a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. This Friday teachers may wear jeans for a small donation. We are asking students to wear red to raise awareness for those who are suffer from heart disease.
So far Sam, Cora, Anam, Ella, and Allie have built NH! Some kids are making the Old Man of the Mountain, and other NH related items too. Ella's NH even had a treasure chest out at the Isles of Shoales, because some historians say that BlackBeard may have buried his treasure there! Here's what we have so far! Great job guys!
Take a Lego flat plate any color or size and add bricks to make the shape of our state. Add major physical features like the Merrimack River, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the White Mountains. Add whatever creative touches you like! Bring it in to share for extra credit.
Welcome to our class website and blog! Here you will find information about what we are learning, helpful links, and hopefully some pictures of your special fourth grader in action! Attendance is very important to me, students should be present on the playground at 8:10 when the bell rings. Any student who is not present by 8:20 is considered tardy. I'm really looking forward to this school year and getting to know my new students and their families. We will have lots of fun learning, creating, and collaborating!
